PVA Provider Spotlight – Adrielle Watkins

Adrielle Watkins is a per diem paramedic at Pittsford Ambulance as well as a member of the clinical care team. Her career began in high school as a volunteer member in her community as a CFR and fire explorer. Shortly after getting a taste for medicine she was hooked, and continued to get her EMT then later paramedic in 2016.

Continued education has always been a priority for her and upon paramedic graduation she began pursuing a degree as a Physician Assistant studies while working as a paramedic for CHS. Throughout the next few years her passion for medicine and clinical care flourished and she held roles as an FTO, narcotics agent, explorer adviser, and clinical care team member.

Throughout school and her EMS career she stayed active in progressing the EMS community with medical writing and some articles published in the DPM as well as instructing for the MCC paramedic program. In early 2019 she joined the team here at Pittsford where she has developed a love for the community that we serve and the excellent team here at PVA. She recently graduated from the PA program in May 2021 and will be continuing her career at the URMC in the Critical Care Fellowship.

Adrielle is excited at the outlook of medicine, her role here at Pittsford and the opportunities at URMC. She loves teaching and aspires to continue in EMS with an active role in teaching and clinical care in addition to continued care in the field.
