PVA recently celebrated great work with a little down time, food and friendship at Woodcliff Hotel and Spa. Well deserved awards were presented to the following:

Basic Life Support Provider of the Year: Gabrielle Santana

Contribution by an individual to the community as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). For dedication, responsibility, professional behavior, ingenuity, special skill or insight in the EMS environment.

Advanced Life Support Provider of the Year: Jim Carver

Contribution by an individual to the community as a Paramedic (EMT-P). For dedication, responsibility, professional behavior, ingenuity, special skills, or insight in the EMS environment.

Excellence in Service: Dan O’Connell, Hannah Mager

Contribution by an individual to the PVA Corps that advances the mission of PVA while fostering the growth of our members, and supports our commitment to exceptional service in the Pittsford community. Dedication to the values and mission of PVA, accepting additional responsibility, professional integrity, team building.

Special recognition Event: Stephen Page

Career contributions at SEQ and Pittsford Ambulance, and as a firefighter and EMS practitioner throughout the greater Rochester community. For dedication to the training and professional advancement of EMS practitioners throughout a career spanning more than 20 years, still ongoing as Steve continues to support our operational readiness. With our sincerest gratitude and appreciation, we recognize Steve for his service, and wish him well as he enjoys whatever degree of retirement he can tolerate.
