On April 14, Victoria received the Basic Life Support Provider of the Year award at the 2018 STEP Conference awards breakfast. She has received this award in recognition of contributions to the community as a Certified First Responder (CFR) or as an EMT-Basic (EMT-B) through exemplary dedication, responsibility, professional behavior, ingenuity, and special skill or insight in the EMS environment.

On April 14, Brian received the Harriet C. Weber EMS Leadership Award at the 2018 STEP Conference awards breakfast. This award was given to Brian in recognition of his service as an EMS Agency leader that exemplifies longevity, innovation/dedication, responsibility, executive and management skills in establishing, maintaining, promoting or expanding EMS organizations, agencies, committees at the community and/or state level.

Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance stands ready to serve anyone within our community who needs assistance, through emergent access to overdose-reversing medications and treatment of life-threatening conditions associated with overdose.

PVA member Paul Petrino has recently passed his New York State EMT certification exam. He will soon begin practical training on our ambulances, as a final step toward independent practice as an EMT.
